Final Evaluation
I am very excited and pleased to say that I have learned alot of new things in 5532. Even though this class did not come easy for me, the outcome was worth the frustration. A few of the things that my students enjoyed was Co-Writer, Wiki's and Podcasts(listening to me read Waiting for Wings). The sites that I created and use most often from class are from eblogger and ikeepbookmarks. Overall, I really enjoyed the class. The laid back atmosphere was comforting and the people were helpful.

Social Bookmarking
I created my own social bookmarking page through www.ikeepbookmarks.com and I use this everyday. It is such fast and convenient way to keep up with my favorite and most used sites.
YackPack
I thought that YackPack was really cool but it was hard to get the microphones to work. Since I teach 2nd grade and we only have 2 computer in the classroom, I do not think this would work well in my class.
Assistive Technology
I used co-writer and thought it was great. I used the standard template for intermediate dictionary and the sentence window. You could start a sentence and it would give you a list of words that could come next in your sentence. This would be a great sentence center idea.
Wikis
This was actually one of my favorite things that I learned in class. I used the Wikis in my classroom and my students loved it. As a Writing project, I put my students up into two groups. One group started an opening sentence and then the next group added the body of the paragraph. It took my students alot of time to type the sentences but they loved it!!!! It was LOTS OF FUN and I will definitely be using this in my classroom!!!!

Stat Counter
Tonight I went to www.statcounter.com and added this link to my blog. I am anxious to see how many people actually look at my blog.
